Hello again, truffleites! Mimi Truffles has been very busy lately and we're excited to tell you about it! We've just applied for the Next Big Small Brand competition -- the winner gets branding and design services from the Rooster Design Group, PR representation from First Press Public Relations, the opportunity for shelf space at Whole Foods and at the Brooklyn Flea, among other fantastic prizes. This year, the competition is pitting San Francisco food producers against those from NYC, so we're looking forward to showing exactly why the City that Never Sleeps is truly the best place for culinary innovation. We should find out soon if we are chosen as a semi-finalist -- wish us luck!
We've also been making lots and lots of delicious cake truffles! We've perfected our recipes for some fan favorites -- dark chocolate, blueberry muffin, banana bread, cinnamon, and red velvet -- and we've got a few big things in the works. Stay tuned!
